NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani sat down with Theo Von and pitched socialism as "dignity": housing, childcare and transit that the government provides. Larry likes Theo, but says he gave Mamdani a soft interview without one challenging question.

Topics covered: who pays, and whether families who opt out still get taxed; Mamdani's 2021 "seize the means of production" line that didn't come up with Theo; why the cure for corporate cronyism is less government, not more; the viral rent-vs-income chart that compares inflation-adjusted and unadjusted numbers (hat tip to Brad Polumbo); and Mamdani's enthusiastic "yes" to the US joining the ICC and honoring its warrants, including against Netanyahu.
