Reid Abedeen is the managing partner at Safeguard Investment Advisory Group, LLC. As an investment advisor, Reid has helped retirees for over 20 years with issues such as insurance, long-term care planning, financial services, asset protection and many other areas.
Upon receiving his degree in business administration, he began the first leg of his career in the banking industry. Always looking for ways to help clients, Reid realized that institutions were limited in the personal assistance that they could offer families. Believing that clients and their families should come first, he decided to go on his own in order to give the proper help and guidance that many families need in determining their retirement goals.
As an investment advisor, Reid’s primary focus is to get a complete picture and understanding of what each client is looking to achieve personally and financially as well as with estate planning for their heirs. Additionally, a plan of action does not mean forcing ideas on a client but assuring the plan they have in place is sound and on track to meet those goals and objectives. Reid believes every individual should be well-informed about retirement options, and he shares his knowledge and experience as a regular contributor to Kiplinger.
Reid holds California life-only and accident and health licenses (#0C78700), holds a Series 65 license and is registered as an investment advisor representative under Safeguard Investment Advisory Group.
