George Allmon: After retiring from the Navy, Captain George Allmon, USN RET, decided to focus on his backup passion, edible landscapes. Although he loved his almost 38-year Navy career, George also loved the fresh fruits and vegetables he would have waiting for him at home. Customer George and Walter Andersen Nursery Senior Manager David Ross connected years ago at many of the classes George attended at the nursery. When he is not helping customers or presenting classes on organic insect controls, George can be found combing the nursery for a new fruit or vegetable to add to his own orchard."
