A television news outlet based in San Diego, California said Thursday that CNN had first invited them, and then disinvited them to provide a report on the border wall situation at the U.S. Mexico border.

Breitbart reports KUSI News said in a statement that they believed CNN passed on airing their report after the station confirmed that a barrier “does in fact work.”

The station said “We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States, and the numbers prove it.”

KUSI said CNN declined to have them on their programs because, “They didn’t like what they heard from us.”
