U.S. Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar made it clear over the weekend that she really doesn’t care if she offends supporters of Israel.

Fox News reports hundreds of protesters gathered outside a Southern California fundraising event for the Council of American-Islamic Relations (or CAIR).

The protesters waved Israeli flags and denounced the freshman congresswoman over recent remarks that many have described as anti-Semitic.

Omar told the audience inside she was not moved by the protesters, saying "I don't think any of them realize that people like myself and many in this room could care less about what they have to say."

Omar drew outrage from Republicans and some in her own party after making what appeared to be anti-Semitic comments on multiple occasions.
