Past comments made by Arizona Democratic Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema continue to haunt her as new information shows she once described stay-at-home moms as leeches.

The Federalist reports in a profanity-laced 2006 interview with Scottsdale nightlife magazine 944, Sinema mocked “These women who act like staying at home, leeching off their husbands or boyfriends, and just cashing the checks.”

Sinema has come under fire recently for making derogatory comments about Arizona over the years in newly resurfaced videos. She has described conservatives as “Neanderthals,” and called Arizonans “crazy.”

She was bashed by her Republican challenger Martha McSally at a recent debate for saying "she has no problem with an American going to join the Taliban."

McSally called that comment treasonous and said Sinema should apologize.
