“Once you know, you know. Why wait?” Good question. There’s a sweet spot between rushing toward matrimony and delaying the ceremony. If you can step into marriage after an unhurried preparation time, you’ve settled on the happy medium.
The world likes to promote the idea that living together before the covenant of marriage occurs is smart. Wise, even. Wedding planning is stressful. Take a deep breath, try not to stress, and remember that God is with you in the planning stages, on your wedding day, and through your life in marital bliss. When you meet your spouse at the altar on your wedding day, it will all be worth it.
Care about the types of flowers you want–AND the vases they'll be in. Care about the design of the napkins and spoons. Care about what shoes you'll be wearing when you and your new husband drive off together. Have fun with all of these things–they are, after all, an expression of YOU and the dreams you have for yourself! It is not wrong to get lost in the details.But then, and I can't emphasize this enough, let your expectations go
